GAZA (PIC)– Hamas Movement urged on Sunday the Palestinian people and the various resistance factions to “prepare for a new round of confrontation with the IOF troops” amidst obvious Israeli military escalation against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
In this context the Movement called on the Palestinian people to set aside their political differences and to consolidate their ranks to block the “systematic” IOF military attacks on the Palestinian people.
In a statement it issued and a copy of which was faxed to the PIC the Movement also called on its armed wing the Qassam Brigades as well as the rest of the Palestinian resistance armed wings to use all “means of resistance” to retaliate to the IOF massacres against the unarmed Palestinian people.
On Saturday the IOF troops killed eight Palestinian citizens including a 17-year-old schoolgirl while revising her lessons in her house among other martyrs in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Moreover Hamas called on PA chief Mahmoud Abbas to stop meeting with Israeli officials and invited him to stand behind his and their legitimate resistance against occupation.
Fatah political and military officials have also called on Abbas to terminate such meetings.
In addition to urging the PLC and the PA government to extend all needed support for the resistance fighters Fawzi Barhoum the Movement’s spokesman in Gaza Strip called on Arabs and Muslims peoples and governments to politically morally and materially support the Palestinian people.
He also urged Arab rulers not to be deceived or hastily run after normalizing ties with the Hebrew state that he charged doesn’t want peace in the region and pursues murder of Palestinians on daily basis.
Furthermore the Hamas official deprecated the US administration for providing political cover for Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people and for “incessantly supplying the Israeli occupation government with the needed weapons to kill the Palestinians”.
The US administration is expected to supply the IOF troops with MK-84 devastative bombs worth 65 million dollars.
Yet Barhoum underlined that the US and Israeli administrations were indeed “dreaming” if they thought that such crimes would weaken the spirit of resistance among the Palestinian people or force them to bow to their political agenda.
Haneyya: IOF massacres desperate attempt to weaken Palestinians:
Ismail Haneyya the PA prime minister also condemned the latest Israeli military escalation in the West Bank and described it as a “desperate Israeli attempt to break the will and determination of the Palestinian people”.
He also underlined that the Palestinian people in spite of the sacrifices they make will remain steadfast on their land and will foil the Israeli malicious plans against them.
In this context the PA premier called on Arab countries to immediately break the economic blockade on the Palestinian people in retaliation to the IOF massacres in occupied Palestine.
Months ago the Arab countries decided to break the 15-month-old siege that was imposed by the USA and Israel on the Palestinian people for expressing their democratic will; yet the Arab leaders failed to carry out their decision so far.
For his part Ghazi Hamad the spokesman of the PA unity government accused the Israeli occupation government of deceiving the international community by “pretending” to be interested in peace urging the international community to “put a limit” to Israel’s undermining of international laws and conventions.
