The Israeli police said that a Canadian citizen was shot dead after allegedly threatening Israeli security officers with a knife in the kibbutz of Netiv Haasara near the Gaza border.
According to the Hebrew media, a Canadian man arrived at the entrance of Netiv Haasara on the border with Gaza while chanting “the Israeli army is killing civilians in Gaza.”
The Israeli police justified the shooting incident by claiming that the man pulled out a knife in an attempt to stab a security officer in the area.
