A Palestinian journalist along with three other civilians were killed in an Israeli air raid on eastern Khan Yunis on Tuesday evening.
Local sources said that journalist Mohammed Issa Abu Saada was killed in an Israeli aerial strike in the vicinity of his family house in eastern Khan Yunis to the south of Gaza Strip.
Four citizens were killed and three others were wounded in the Israeli raid that targeted tents for the displaced near a school in Bani Suhaila, which also provides shelter for thousands of Palestinians.
Gaza’s Government Media Office (GMO) said in a statement that the number of journalists killed in the ongoing Israeli war of genocide on Gaza has thus risen to 166 since October 7 last year.
It added in a statement that Abu Saada worked as a correspondent and photojournalist for a number of media outlets.
The GMO condemned the Israeli targeting of Palestinian journalists and urged the world community and concerned institutions to deter Israel and bring it to account before international tribunals for its war crimes.
