Jewish settlers stole around 200 sheep from Palestinian Bedouins in northern Jericho on Wednesday morning, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
It quoted head of ‘Bayder’ organization that defends Bedouin rights Hasan Mleihat as saying that settlers from nearby settlements stole the sheep owned by Odeh Kaabne in Ras al-Ouja Bedouin community to the north of Jericho.
Jewish settlers launch daily raids on Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley, stealing sheep, cutting water supplies and damaging property in addition to physical attacks.
