GAZA (PIC)– Leaders from Hamas headed by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zahhar discussed on Tuesday evening with a delegation from the Islamic Jihad Movement in the Gaza Strip latest developments in the Palestinian arena particularly in the light of Israeli threats to attack the Strip.
“Our meeting with the brothers in Hamas was lengthy and constructive; our discussions tackled bilateral relations and the need to improve these relations for the better” Nafez Azzam an Islamic Jihad leader attending the meeting said.
He added that there was agreement in views on the need to develop relations between all the factions in general and between Hamas and Jihad in particular to confront the Zionist-American colonial project in the region.
The two parties also agreed to continue such meetings to exchange views on means of dealing with the major threats to Palestinian people.
