The Ministry of Health announced on Monday the martyrdom of a Palestinian citizen in his forties, revealing that he died of wounds that he suffered by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire during their storming of the Al-Duhaisha refugee camp, southeast of Bethlehem.

The Ministry explained that the martyr Ahmed Ezqaili, 43, died of wounds he endured after being shot by IOF nearly a month ago in Jenin.

The martyr had been receiving treatment in Ibn Sina Hospital since his injury, before his martyrdom was announced today, due to his injury.

With his martyrdom, the number of martyrs of Jenin has risen to 188 martyrs, since the start of the Israeli war of genocide on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

In a related context, the IOF stormed this morning the al-Duhaisha camp in Bethlehem, for the second time in hours, after it had stormed it overnight.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its crews dealt with five injuries including a man who was shot by live bullets in the thigh and was transferred to hospital for treatment.

The PRCS also dealt with four other injuries, one of which was because of falling down while rushing to evade IOF shooting, while the other three injuries resulted from beatings during the confrontations that broke out following the IOF incursion into the camp.

According to local sources, the IOF carried out a random raid and arrest campaign in the camp, following the arrest of the young man Ayman Al-Hasanat, 19, during the night incursion.
