In a serious incident, a Jewish man wearing a white priestly garb was among the groups of settlers who desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday morning.
According to eyewitnesses, dozens of settlers entered the Mosque in different groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under tight police protection, adding that one of them was dressed like a ritual priest.
A number of settlers escorted by police officers also gathered in the eastern area of the Mosque and embarked on performing Talmudic prayers.
According to the Islamic Awqaf Administration in the holy city, at least 149 settlers defiled the Mosque in the morning tours.
