Fierce clashes broke out at dawn Friday between Palestinian resistance fighters and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Tubas City, north of the West Bank.
According to local sources, resistance fighters clashed with Israeli soldiers after they stormed Tubas aboard 20 armored vehicles through al-Tayasir military checkpoint.
Meanwhile, explosions rocked Tubas when IOF vehicles were attacked with explosive devices.
Local youths also helped the resistance fighters in Tubas through blocking main roads in the city.
Israeli soldiers reportedly broke into and ransacked some homes in Tubas and kidnaped one citizen.
