Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said on Monday that an Israeli female captive was recently killed in one of the combat zones in northern Gaza in mysterious circumstances.
“The circumstances of the incident are being investigated and we do not intend to publish the name of the female prisoner killed for security reasons,” an official source from the Brigades told Al Jazeera satellite channel.
Since early October, a renewed Israeli military campaign in northern Gaza, especially in Jabalia town and its refugee camp, have massacred and injured hundreds of civilians and targeted homes, hospitals, shelter centers, and defenseless people walking or standing in streets.
The Israeli campaign in northern is seen as the deadliest and most destructive since the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza started.
