Israeli settlers attacked on Friday Palestinian olive pickers in the governorates of Ramallah and Bethlehem and cut down dozens of olive trees.

Local sources reported that dozens of fanatic settlers cut down dozens of fruit trees in the lands of the Nahalin town, west of Bethlehem.

The sources explained that extremist settlers cut down 70 olive, grape and almond trees in the Ein Fares land west of the town, belonging to citizen Adel Ghayata.

The town of Nahalin has been witnessing escalating attacks by Israeli occupation forces and Jewish settlers, who seized the town’s lands and uprooted and cut down its trees.

Meanwhile, settlers attacked olive pickers in the village of Deir Jerir, east of Ramallah.

Local sources reported that settlers from the “pastoral” colonial outpost illegally established on citizens’ lands in the village attacked olive pickers and tried to force them to leave their lands and prevent them from picking olives.

Meanwhile, settlers set up a “caravan” on the lands of Jabal al-Najma in the village of Jalud, south of Nablus.

The residents of the town revealed that installing the caravan was aimed at seizing the land to establish a new settlement outpost to expand the neighboring colonies.
