The Israeli army has continued its bloody war on Lebanon for the 57th consecutive day on Monday, launching dozens of raids and artillery shelling on various areas of the country alongside a ground incursion into a number of southern villages amid fierce resistance from Hezbollah.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of one person and the injury of nine others, on Sunday evening, in an Israeli airstrike targeting an electronics shop on Mar Elias Street in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, in the second attack targeting the capital on Sunday, following a strike on the Ras al-Nabaa area.
The Ministry of Health announced that “the Israeli enemy’s raids on the villages of Tyre District today resulted in a total death toll of 11 people and the injury of 48 others.”
On Sunday, the Israeli warplanes launched several raids on various Lebanese villages and towns in southern Lebanon.
This brings the death toll since the start of the Israeli war on Lebanon to 3,481 martyrs, and 14,786 wounded, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health
For its part, the Lebanese army announced on Sunday, “the martyrdom of two of its members and the injury of two others in an Israeli strike that targeted an army office in the town of Al-Mari in the district of Hasbaya in southern Lebanon.”
The Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said that “the number of martyrs among the ranks of his country’s army has risen to 36 since the start of the Israeli aggression in October 2023.”
