A Palestinian child suffered a bullet injury on Saturday afternoon when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at citizens near Ofer jail in Ramallah in the central West Bank.
The Red Crescent said that its paramedics provided first aid for a 15-year-old child after he was injured in his thigh by IOF gunfire near Ofer jail before transferring him to a hospital.
According to local sources, the IOF fired live ammunition and a hail of tear gas canisters and stun grenades at a gathering of citizens as they were waiting for the release of Palestinian prisoners today outside Ofer jail.
In a separate incident, a horde of extremist settlers wreaked havoc on crops belonging to Palestinian citizens after they let their sheep graze on swaths of agricultural land in Wadi al-Faw area in the northern Jordan Valley.
