Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued on Thursday their aggression against Tulkarem city and its camp for the 53rd consecutive day, and for the 40th day on Nur Shams camp, amid continuous escalation, incursions, home demolition and destruction of infrastructure.

The IOF bulldozers continued to demolish a number of houses in the Manshiya neighborhood in Nur Shams camp, as the camp’s Popular Services Committee said that the IOF has destroyed 66 houses since the start of the aggression, while local sources confirmed that six residential buildings with dozens of apartments were demolished yesterday.

Meanwhile, Nur Shams camp witnessed raids and search operations of houses, especially in Jabal al-Nasr and al-Salihin neighborhoods where the IOF turned a house belonging to the Abu Dayeh family into a military barracks in the Jabal al-Nasr area.

In Tulkarem refugee camp, the IOF fired flare bombs over Abu al-Foul neighborhood last night, while IOF military vehicles were deployed in its neighborhoods and around houses amid vandalism and destruction of everything in front of them. IOF soldiers were stationed at the northern entrance of the camp, which was closed by occupation bulldozers with rubble and earth mounds, before storming homes, shops and institutions amid vandalism and theft of their belongings.

Beside the Qaqoun, Abu al-Foul and Hanoun Square neighborhoods, Al-Hadida and Al-Matar neighborhoods also witnessed a large-scale forced displacement of citizens, while the IOF stormed houses in Al-Rabayeh neighborhood and conducted extensive searches inside them and subjected their residents to interrogation, at a time when the camp became almost empty of its residents, after more than 12,000 of its inhabitants had to relocate.

The IOF sent military reinforcements to Tulkarem city, its camps and suburbs, while soldiers were deployed in the main streets while restricting the movement of citizens and vehicles, amid firing sound bombs to terrorize citizens.

At the same time, the IOF soldiers continue to seize several houses on Nablus Street, specifically in the area adjacent to Tulkarem camp, where their vehicles and bulldozers are stationed around them, amid tight measures that limit the movement of vehicles and citizens.

The IOF arrested the citizen Bashir Mahmoud Oufi, after raiding his house in the suburb of Ektaba, east of the city.
