Besieged Gaza marks grim Eid after death toll tops 1035

GAZA (PIC)– Civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip have marked their Eid’s day with a great sorrow after Gaza death toll has hit 1035 all killed in the ongoing Israeli offensive.

Palestinian citizens Hussein Hassan Abu al-Naja 65 was killed in Israeli artillery attack east of Khan Younis to the South of Gaza while Imad al-Bardawil 44 died of wounds he sustained in an earlier airstrike 17 days ago.

Two members of the municipality personnel were killed in an Israeli strike Sunday evening while they were carrying out distribution missions east of Khan Younis. Hundreds of others were left severely wounded in the process.

Gaza death toll has been brought to 1035 including 236 children 93 women and 47 elderly civilians all killed in no more than 22 days.

Some 6233 civilians have been left severely wounded including 1994 children 1169 ladies and 257 elderly people.

A wave of Israeli sea air and on-the-ground military offensives has been launched by the Israeli occupation forces in the besieged Gaza Strip more than three weeks ago leading to unspeakable human and material damages.
