A horde of extremist Jewish settlers detained three Palestinian journalists and one activist in Ramallah, while the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped four citizens from Bethlehem and injured a child in Jenin on Saturday.

According to local sources, armed settlers got out of a vehicle and detained activist Rabie Abu Naim, and journalists Mohamed Turkman, Karim Khmaisah, and Ahmed al-Khatib while they were documenting settler violations and the demolition of tents in al-Mughayyir village in the northeast of Ramallah.

The activist and journalists said the settlers prevented them from leaving the area in their car and tried to snatch its key and a cellphone they used to record the recent Israeli violations that had been committed in al-Mughayyir village.

The settlers also threatened to kill them if they saw them again in the area.

In a separate incident, a 13-year-old child suffered a bullet injury in his leg after Israeli forces stormed al-Zababida town in southern Jenin. The kid was rushed to the hospital for medical assistance.

In Tulkarem City, Israeli soldiers kidnaped a young man after intercepting his car in Dinnaba suburb.

Local sources reported that the soldiers seized the young man’s cellphone and posted pictures of Israeli leaders on his Facebook account.

The IOF also kidnaped three other young men from different streets of Tulkarem City.

Meanwhile, a group of armed settlers attacked several Palestinian homes in the Old City’s Tel al-Rumeida neighborhood in al-Khalil.

Other gangs of settlers assaulted Palestinian farmers in Farkha village near Salfit and stormed a residential area in al-Mughayyir village in Ramallah.

No one was reportedly hurt in the settler attacks.
