The Ministry of Health in Gaza Strip on Sunday announced that all Gaza hospitals will run out of fuel within three days.
It added in a terse statement that Israeli occupation forces block international organizations from reaching fuel depots at the pretext they are located in areas marked “Red” that is areas of military operations.
Hindering arrival of fuel shipments to hospitals would force hospitals to stop services due to stoppage of generators that supply vital sectors with power, the ministry concluded.
The Israeli army has been closing Gaza crossings for more than two months and blocking the entry of fuel, food, and badly needed relief materials causing hunger among the Gazans and further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the besieged enclave.
