Two Palestinian resistance fighters were martyred Friday evening after engaging in an armed clash with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) who surrounded them in a house in the Ein Qaqub area near the neighborhood of Al-Masaken Al-Shaabiya, east of Nablus.
Witnesses reported that the IOF encircled a house in the Ein Qaqub area, hit it with several Energa shells amid ongoing clashes, and dispatched additional military reinforcements, preventing ambulances from reaching the area.
The martyrs were identified as Jenin Battalion commander Nour Abdel Karim al-Bitawi, and young man Hikmat Abdel Nabi.
The Red Crescent Society in Nablus reported that its crews recovered the bodies of the two martyrs from inside a besieged house in Nablus.
