The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped dozens of Palestinian citizens during a large-scale arrest campaign in the West Bank, which started last night and continued into Tuesday morning.

According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped about 30 citizens during a raid in Dura town in al-Khalil province.

The sources said that the IOF detained a number of those citizens in a house belonging to the family of martyr Abdul-Fattah al-Heribat in the town.

Several members of the Heribat family were among the detainees. The IOF reportedly maltreated all the detainees, and herded them together while being handcuffed and blindfolded.

In southern Nablus, Israeli forces kidnaped about 15 citizens, including brothers and relatives, and interrogated dozens following violent raids on homes in Beita town.

A number of young men were reportedly taken to a medical center after they were severely beaten by Israeli soldiers.

Israeli soldiers also stormed Askar refugee camp in eastern Nablus, where they raided a house belonging to the family of Qamhiya, assaulted its residents and kidnaped one of them.

Two other young citizens were also taken prisoners during the IOF raid in Askar camp.

In Jenin, one citizen was kidnaped by the IOF from his home in Ya’bad town.

In Bethlehem, the IOF stormed the old market area of the city, stormed a school and forced its students and teachers to leave it.

In east Jerusalem, the Israeli municipality carried a demolition campaign against Palestinian homes and commercial facilities in Anata town’s al-Buhayra neighborhood.
