IOF troops kidnap Palestinian judge in Jerusalem

Sunday 8-April-2007

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Palestinian judge Sheikh Abdullah Harb Turkman was kidnapped at the hands of the IOF troops on Saturday morning while heading to his office in the occupied city of Jerusalem Palestinian sources affirmed.

Palestinian chief justice Sheikh Tayseer Al-Tamimi condemned that abduction of Turkman who is a known Muslim scholar and heads the appellate Sharia court in Jerusalem.

“We shouldn’t surrender to the IOA policies that aim at turning the daily arrest of Palestinian citizens into an ordinary matter” affirmed Tamimi.

He also explained that the arrest of Turkman falls in line with the systematic terror campaign that the IOA is practicing against any Palestinian citizen defending the Aqsa Mosque and unmasking the IOA “malicious” plans against it.

Few days ago the Israeli court in occupied Jerusalem bought the “fabricated” Israeli prosecution story against Sheikh Raed Salah the head of the Islamic Movement in the 1948-occupied Palestinian lands in a bid to ban him from instigating against the IOA wrong practices against the holy shrine.

For its part the Mizan (scale) legal center condemned the “bloody” IOF aggressions against the Palestinian people and their holy shrines affirming that the world’s passiveness vis-à-vis those aggressions had encouraged the IOF to escalate those atrocities.

Amidst the persisting IOF threats of invading the tiny Gaza Strip the center expressed anxiety over possible IOF human right violations and crimes against humanity during the presumed invasion.

As a result the center called on the international community to shoulder its mandate and responsibility in bridling the IOA violation of international laws and conventions and to protect the unarmed Palestinian civilians as stipulated in international laws and statutes.
