Israelis urged to leave Arab countries for fear of being kidnapped

Thursday 8-March-2007

NAZARETH (PIC)– The Israeli occupation government has urged Israeli settlers in three Arab countries to immediately leave them and return to the Hebrew state for mounting fears they might be kidnapped.

The so-called “anti-terrorism” bureau in the Israeli premier’s office issued an urgent “security warning” to Israeli settlers visiting Egypt Jordan and Morocco to quickly depart from those countries citing “specified warnings” on their safety.

The bureau also warned Israelis to be vigilant against possible kidnapping attempts at the hands of the Lebanese Hizbullah organization in more than 40 countries including Turkey Thailand and the Egyptian Sinai desert which are the most favorite spots for Israelis during the Jewish Passover holidays.

The bureau’s report furthermore classified Egypt Jordan Iraq Sudan Syria Lebanon Somalia and Yemen as the “most dangerous” places for Israelis and urged them to avoid visiting Turkey and Morocco.

Some other places in the globe including the southern Philippine Island of Mindanao and Kashmir region among other spots were also specified as “dangerous” for Israelis.

The warning came three days after the Israeli official TV aired a documentary film showing 250 Egyptian POWs massacred at the hands of their Israeli captors in cold blood.

The warning were also believed to be spurred by Iran’s accusation of the Mossad (Israel’s external intelligence apparatus) and the CIA of kidnapping a former high-ranking official in the Iranian defense ministry in Turkey last week.
