BEIT HANUN (PIC)– IOF troops at dawn Wednesday advanced into the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanun amidst intensified firing and heavy air cover PA security sources reported.
They added that the incursion was accompanied by heavy air cover warning of a possible aggression targeting Palestinian activists. The sources noted that the invasion troops occupied two homes in the vicinity of Beit Hanun.
Meanwhile in the West Bank the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement the Quds Brigades declared that its members succeeded last night in blowing up a section of the Israeli separation wall north of Tulkarm.
It said that the attack was in reprisal to the assassination of its activist Fadl Balawne in January and in line with the retaliatory strikes to IOF crimes in lines of the Palestinian people.
In another development four Palestinian children were wounded in IOF shooting near the same racist wall though west of Beitonia village Ramallah district.
Local sources said that the kids were shot at when they threw stones at the soldiers adding that one of them Hatem Al-Ashkar 12 was hit with a live bullet in his abdomen and underwent urgent surgery.
