IOF soldiers kill Palestinian in his Nablus home wound his son

NABLUS (PIC)– IOF soldiers fired at a Palestinian citizen in his home in the Old City of Nablus Monday killing him on the spot while his son was wounded in his hand Palestinian medical sources reported.

They said that the soldiers fired at the apartment in the western suburb of the Old City hitting Annan Al-Teibi in his neck and wounding his son Ashraf.

The soldiers prevented ambulance teams from reaching the victims at the pretext of ascertaining their identity.

An IOF army vehicle was burnt at the hands of young Palestinians battling the invading troops with firebombs stones and empty bottles.

More than 50 Palestinians were so far rounded up at the hands of the IOF troops while tens of houses were stormed and some of them turned into military barracks.

Eyewitnesses said that the invasion troops made field interrogations with tens of Palestinians in a school in the vicinity of the Old City.

Rezka: Nablus incursion part of Olmert’s plan to foil Makkah agreement:
Meanwhile the PA information minister charged that the IOF incursion into Nablus since dawn Sunday was part of Israeli premier Ehud Olmert’s plan to foil the Makkah agreement.

He said in a press release that the ongoing incursion would annul the ceasefire to which all Palestinian factions were abiding.

He urged for greater Palestinian Arab and international efforts to force the IOF troops to withdraw from Nablus and all West Bank cities.

For its part the Hamas Movement strongly denounced the IOF troops’ assaults on journalists while covering the incursion.
