GAZA (PIC)– A group of armed elements affiliated with the mutiny trend in Fatah faction has breached an Egypt-sponsored truce deal their faction signed with Hamas Movement a couple of days ago and fired at Fawzi Barhoum the spokesman of Hamas in Gaza.
Hamas Movement condemned the Fatah attack on Barhoum and his bodyguards as well as the deliberate shooting at elements of the executive force of the PA interior ministry at the Buraij refugee camp in central Gaza Strip.
Amidst these serious developments Hamas urged Palestinian factions and the Egyptian security delegation in Gaza Strip who witnessed the deal to carry out their obligations in forcing Fatah faction to abide by the spirit of the truce and its terms.
Fatah scheme against Hamas:
In a related matter a well-informed source and a high-ranking Fatah official close to the PA president’s office has affirmed to the PIC that Fatah faction decided to carry out a series of assassination attempts against Hamas political leaders.
The Fatah official also revealed that the assassination scheme was planned by Fatah MP Mohammed Dahalan with full coordination and supervision by PA chief Mahmoud Abbas.
Dahalan’s private army:
According to the official who asked not to be identified the scheme calls for the formation of a private army of 7000-10000 armed men carefully selected from the various PA security apparatuses and to place it under Dahalan’s command and that the said army will be bolstered by additional 5000 fighters from the Aqsa Martyrs Brigades armed wing of Fatah in a bid to overpower the executive force.
Elements of the Dahalan’s private army the source unveiled will undergo tough military trainings with live bullets and they will be given special remuneration separated from the rest of the PA security forces.
Moreover the Fatah official underlined that elements of that army had stormed local mosques and killed Muslims inside them and spread vandalism in Gaza Strip over the past few days.
He added that the new army has three months only to accomplish the mission of weakening Hamas in order to pave the way for Abbas’ call for early elections to pass unopposed.
The PA preventive security apparatus that Dahalan founded and headed in the early nineties of the past century was also preparing to avenge the killing of its officer Mohammed Abu Gharib and planning to kill Hamas prominent figures the official underscored.
“The last thing Fatah thinks about was the formation of a national unity government with Hamas as it will keep on creating security chaos in the Palestinian arena till the comprehensive confrontation with Hamas takes place” the Fatah official furthermore unveiled.
The USA released tens of millions of dollars to Abbas’ office as sources in Washington affirmed that the money sums were meant to enhance “Abbas-Dahalan” forces against Hamas in the Strip in a bid to overthrow the PA government through a military coup.
More firearms and RPG missiles among other weapons loaded in 3 trucks have crossed the Rafah crossing point into Gaza Strip Wednesday night and unloaded the shipment at Ansar military camp of the PA presidential guards near Abbas’ home in Gaza.
Many local observes opined that Abbas was dodging in his talks with Hamas in order to gain more time and to allow Dahalan’s new private army to execute the scheme.
