GAZA (PIC)– PA foreign affairs’ minister Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zahhar has notified Wednesday the Arab League and the OIC on the continuous Israeli conspiracies that aim at demolishing the Aqsa Mosque and building the alleged Third Temple on its ruins urging both organizations to immediately move on all levels to save the Mosque and stop Israel’s schemes against it.
“No doubt that you are aware that the successive Israeli occupation governments including the incumbent government attempted and still are attempting to desecrate the Aqsa Mosque and conspire to reduce it to rubbles since the Mosque fell under Israeli occupation in 1967 including the attempt to burn it in 1969 which comes in the context of Israel’s desire to Judaize the Mosque” Zahhar explained in two separate letters he sent to Amre Mousa secretary-general of the AL and Ihsan Al-Dien Akmel Oglo the OIC secretary-general.
The PA official added that Israel’s strive to defile landmarks of the city and to introduce dramatic demographic change in favor of Jewish settlers in the occupied city of Jerusalem have not come to a stop since 1967 including confiscating vast areas of Palestinian lands demolishing Palestinian homes and forcing thousands of them out of the city in addition to carrying out series of serious excavation works beneath the Mosque that would weaken it foundation and lead to its eminent collapse.
“Any harm that the Israeli occupation government might inflict on the Mosque will be counterproductive and would have unprecedented adverse repercussions the results of which no one could predict because harming the Mosque means harming Islam” Zahhar furthermore asserted.
In a related matter the Resala (message) legal center affirmed that the Israeli occupation government and Jewish fanatic groups were exploiting the deteriorating Palestinian security condition to carry out their plans against the holy Mosque.
The center in this regard urged the Palestinian people to consolidate their ranks and to cut the road before the “malicious” Israeli schemes inviting for the formation of a committee of international lawyers that will legally sue the Israeli occupation government before international courts.
