Monday 15-January-2007

NABLIS (PIC)– Ra’fat Nassif one of the Hamas Movement’s political leaders has highly commended PA premier Ismail Haneyya’s call for an end to internal armed and media clashes and for cementing ranks.

Nassif who is imprisoned in the Israeli desert prison in Negev said that all Palestinian factions should favorably respond to Haneyya’s call and initiate a serious dialogue aimed at finding a national unity government based on the document of concord.

The detained leader hailed the Hamas-led PA government’s ability to provide the people’s sustenance despite the tightening siege imposed on it and lauded its insistence on national constants regardless of pressures.

He praised the workers’ syndicate for ending the strike and urged the Palestinian people to back the resistance factions capturing the Israeli soldier in their demands for the release of Palestinian prisoners.

Nassif finally said that the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails were pondering a hunger strike to protest the solitary confinement policy.
