The Israeli police barred on Monday the access of an employee at Awqaf department into al-Aqsa Mosque for six months.
The Awqaf employee Hussam Seder 29 affirmed that his access into al-Aqsa has been barred for six months after being summoned for investigation for more than two hours in Qishleh police station west of occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli police considered Seder’s presence in the Mosque as a “threat” to the compound.
Speaking to Quds Press Seder said that he was previously denied access into al-Aqsa more than once for a total of three years.
He pointed out that Israeli forces broke into and filmed his home in the Old City while he was not there for unknown reasons.
Such Israeli measures came to pave the way for settlers’ provocative break-ins into al-Aqsa.
