Hamas is finalizing preparations for an electronic festival marking the 29th anniversary of the group’s founding.
Spokesperson for the festival Haythem Ghurab said the event the first of its kind will be held on December 13 in Gaza city.
Senior Hamas leaders are slated to take part in the festival.
Ghurab said the ceremony will be as “gigantic” as Hamas’s resistance arsenal and anti-occupation history.
He reiterated the group’s unyielding efforts to disclose the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian land and holy sites and its relentless attempts to raise the world’s awareness about the legitimacy of the Palestinian cause.
A “Hamas 29” hashtag has been into effect as of December 1 to garner support for the Movement and mobilize mass participation in the ceremonies staged to mark the group’s inception.
