Arrests home break-ins reported in predawn sweep by IOF

Sunday 11-December-2016

At least four Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) from the West Bank and Jerusalem at dawn Sunday.

The Israeli occupation army claimed responsibility for the abduction of three Palestinians on suspicions of involvement in anti-occupation activities.

The campaign targeted a Palestinian from Al-Amari refugee camp in Ramallah a youth from Bethlehem’s Tekoua town and another from Dura in al-Khalil.

Overnight the Palestinian child Saraj Ali al-Khatib was kidnapped by the IOF from Jerusalem’s northeastern town of Hizma.

Another Palestinian youth was kidnapped by the occupation soldiers at the Zaatara military checkpoint in Nablus after they stopped him in the area at night.

An Israeli military patrol stormed Beit Ummar town in northern al-Khalil at the crack of dawn and wreaked havoc on civilian homes.

Palestinian brothers Murad and Ahmad Mohamed Ikhmeis were both summoned to questioning in Etzion camp.

The IOF further stormed Beit Ummar’s Big Mosque and scoured its plazas.

23-year-old Palestinian youth Falah Salama Hasanat was arrested by the occupation soldiers at a flying checkpoint pitched near the entrance to al-Fawar refugee camp in southern al-Khalil.

At predawn time the Israeli occupation soldiers sealed off the main road to the industrial zone between Beit Furik and Beit Dajan in eastern Nablus with a makeshift roadblock. Overnight ambushes were reportedly set up in the process.

IOF troops further broke into Deir al-Hatab town and cordoned off its southern outskirts.
