The Islamic Bloc in Gaza Strip staged a solidarity rally with Aleppo and Muslims in Burma on Tuesday hoisting banners inscribed with slogans of condemnation and anger regarding the Arab and Islamic countries’ silence towards the massacres in Syria and Burma.
Dozens of students joined the sit-in to display solidarity with the victims in Aleppo and Burma.
The participants called on the Arab masses to spare no effort in supporting Aleppo and Muslims in Burma with protests and demonstrations.
Nedal Eid an Islamic bloc official expressed solidarity with the victims in Aleppo and Burma stressing the right of people to attain their freedom at whatever cost.
Eid called on the international institutions to act and prevent the continuous crimes against the Syrian people and Muslims in Burma.
The Islamic bloc official appealed to the students’ unions in the Arab world to support the oppressed in all areas through organizing marches and demonstrations.
A number of students performed a play depicting the suffering and struggle of the Syrian people using paints and ragged dresses.
