Palestinian doctor Jinan Al-Sha’er was selected as the best doctor of the month by the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Marshall University.
The nominee’s father Nasr Eddine al-Sha’er said his daughter dedicated the award to the Palestinian people.
He added that Jinan appeared on the Marshall Campus billboards with her Palestinian traits wearing a colorful Islamic veil.
Jinan was granted the “Doctor of the Month” Award in recognition of her brilliance and virtuosity all the way through her academic career.
A graduate of the Palestinian An-Najah Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in Nablus Doctor al-Sha’er got her diploma with an honor and was ranked number one in the list.
Thanks to her dedication and intrinsic passion for medicine Jinan was admitted both as a student and an intern at the Marshall University.
