The Israeli Central Court in occupied Jerusalem decided Tuesday to postpone the trial of two Jerusalemite minors till January 15 2017.
The 13-year-old Jerusalemite minors Ahmed Zaatari and Shadi Farah were arrested in December 2015 for allegedly trying to carry out a stabbing attack.
Since then they were held in a juvenile detention facility within the Green Line.
Family sources affirmed that the court decided to postpone the two detainees’ trial till January 2017 for unknown reasons.
According to DCI-Palestine Israel held 440 Palestinian children in custody at the end of February 2016 more than twice the monthly average since 2011 and the highest number at any given point since the Israel Prison Service began releasing data in 2008.
