Palestinian MP Azzam Salhab 62 was kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday from the southern West Bank province of al-Khalil.
Speaking with a PIC news correspondent Salhab’s eldest son Nooman said the IOF kidnapped his father from al-Hawouz neighborhood in central al-Khalil.
He added that an Israeli army patrol cordoned off the family home and forced the father into a military jeep.
MP Salhab from the Hamas-affiliated Change and Reform Bloc at the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) was released from Israeli lock-ups last year.
He had served a total of seven years in jail mostly in administrative detention in five different arrests
