The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces for arresting senior student members of the Islamic Bloc at al-Quds University and pillaging an exhibition they held recently on campus.
Hamas spokesman Husam Badran stated that the Islamic Bloc students’ exposure to constant persecution by the PA security apparatuses reflected fears over the spread of the resistance culture among university students.
Badran added that the PA keeps unveiling the ugliness of its security coordination with the Israeli occupation through its persistence in such antinational practices.
He called for national action pressuring the PA to end its violations against university students and release those detained in its jails.
