The Israeli police forces arrested three Palestinians including two children Saturday evening as clashes broke out in occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources affirmed that violent clashes erupted in Hazma town in the occupied city when Israeli forces broke into the town amid heavy firing of teargas bombs.
A young man and two children were detained during the clashes the sources added.
Local youths responded by throwing stones at the police forces.
A police officer was reportedly injured during the confrontation.
Meanwhile Israeli forces were deployed in large numbers in the area where they stopped and searched several Palestinian vehicles.
