The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday stormed the campus of the Palestine Technical University (Kadoorie) in Tulkarem north of the West Bank and plundered its main administrative offices.
According to an official source from the university Israeli soldiers forced the university security men to open the main gates and take them to the main administration building where they broke the doors of the computer center and then embarked on pillaging its contents including electronic materials and security camera archives.
The administration strongly denounced what happened describing it as part of the Israeli army’s ongoing violations against the university and its students.
The university has been exposed to about 85 IOF raids in recent years.
The Israeli army already seized a plot of land belonging to the campus and is using it now as a military post which creates a constant state of tension with students.
