Israeli Central court in occupied Jerusalem sentenced on Monday the 14-year-old minor Ahmad Manasra to 12 years imprisonment.
Last month an Israeli prosecutor called for a 12-year jail term to be handed down to the Palestinian minor for allegedly stabbing an Israeli settler in October 2015.
Yediot Ahronot Hebrew newspaper revealed that Manasra would be held in a “closed facility.”
Along with a 15-year-old cousin Manasra allegedly stabbed two Israelis near the illegal settlement neighborhood of Pisgat Ze’ev.
The cousin was shot dead by Israeli forces while Manasra was shot and seriously injured.
Manasra was filmed bleeding on the ground after some Israeli settlers chased him while soldiers arrived and shot him claiming he had allegedly stabbed a settler.
While Manasra was bleeding heavily on the ground some Israeli bystanders shouted a mixed of Arabic and Hebrew obscenities at him.
Manasra is the youngest Palestinian to be convicted by an Israeli court as he was only 13 when he allegedly carried out the stabbing attack.
Meanwhile an Israeli court sentenced the Jerusalemite woman Isra Ja’abis to 11 years imprisonment for an alleged anti-occupation attack.
Isra a mother of a baby was arrested in October 2015 after being accused of attempting to set off a car bomb last year.
She was severely injured by the blaze that engulfed her car in front of a checkpoint into occupied Jerusalem on Oct. 10 2015.
She was transferred to Ein Kerem Hospital before being moved to HaSharon prison although her health situation had not improved.
