Member of Hamas’s political bureau Mahmoud al-Zahhar has said that if the Palestinian resistance in the West Bank possessed the capabilities of its counterpart in Gaza the liberation of Palestine would not take a long time.
Zahhar made his remarks during the fourth conference on Palestine national security that kicked off on Wednesday in Gaza.
The Hamas official stressed the importance of transferring the Palestinian resistance’s military experience and tools from Gaza to the West Bank in order to defend the Palestinian people there against Israel’s crimes and violations.
He also said that it is time for the resistance option to be given a sufficient chance to play its role in restoring the Palestinian rights after the negotiation option obtained its chance and failed.
