RAMALLAH (PIC)– Palestinian Ministry of Health on Tuesday declared the death of a Palestinian 24-year-old youth Nahed Mtair from Qalandya refugee camp in northern Occupied Jerusalem.
In a brief press statement the ministry said that Mtair died of his wounds after being shot by Israeli forces on March the first in clashes with Israeli soldiers in Qalandya camp.
Hundreds of Palestinians on Tuesday evening bade farewell to martyr Mtair. Participants in the funeral raised Palestinian flags and factions’ banners amid anti-occupation chanting. They demanded revenge and response to Israeli crimes against Palestinians.
By the martyrdom of Mtair the number of martyrs from Qalandya refugee camp during Jerusalem Intifada increased to 11 martyrs while the number of all Palestinian martyrs who have been killed by Israeli forces since October the first jumped to 203 martyrs.
