Chairman of the Palestinian National Council (PNC) Salim Zanoun on Sunday announced that the PNC will hold its 28th session on 14th and 15th January in Ramallah under the title “Jerusalem: the eternal capital of the state of Palestine”.
Zanoun stressed in a press statement the importance of the upcoming PNC session in view of the challenges facing the Palestinian cause especially the recent US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
He explained that the PNC is set to conduct a comprehensive review of the past stage in all its aspects and discuss ways of establishing a unified strategy to address the challenges obstructing the Palestinian national project.
He pointed out that he will send official invitations during the next two days to all PNC members including Hamas members to take part in the meetings adding that the Islamic Jihad movement will be invited too.
