A high-level delegation from the Hamas Movement led by its former political bureau chief Khaled Mishaal concluded on Thursday a two-day visit to Morocco.
In a press release Hamas said that its delegation’s visit to Morocco came at the invitation of the leadership of the ruling Justice and Development Party (JDP).
During the visit members of the delegation met with JDP chairman and Moroccan prime minister Saad Eddin Othmani and other senior officials and lawmakers from the party.
They also met with officials of major Moroccan parties as well as members of the parliamentary action group for the support of Palestine.
According to Hamas Mishaal has expressed his thanks and appreciation to King Mohammed VI and his people from all spectra for their supportive positions towards the Palestinian cause and hailed the successful democratic experience in Morocco.
