The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) last week banned the travel of 22 Palestinian citizens via al-Karama crossing the sole outlet connecting the West Bank with the outside world through Jordan.
The Palestinian police said in a statement on Saturday that the IOA last week prevented 22 Palestinians from leaving the West Bank under undisclosed security pretexts.
The police added that 31000 passengers were able to pass through al-Karama crossing in both directions during the reported period.
32 passengers were arrested by the Palestinian police during the same week for different legal reasons as they were trying to leave the West Bank or upon their arrival at the crossing.
