An Israeli court on Tuesday sentenced the Palestinian MP Hasan Yousef a senior Hamas leader and high-profile anti-occupation activist administratively with neither charge nor trial.
The detainee’s son Ouways said Israel’s Ofer Court sentenced his father to a sixth-month administrative term.
On December 13 Israeli army troops rolled into Ramallah’s western town of Beituniya at the crack of dawn and kidnapped the Hamas leader Hasan Yousef also a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC).
He was arrested just three months after he was released from Israeli jails where he had spent a total of over 20 years.
