Israeli artillery shells hit southern Gaza

Monday 11-December-2017

Israeli army on Monday evening opened fire toward Palestinian lands located east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

A PIC news correspondent said an Israeli military tank deployed along the borderline (between Gaza Strip and 1948 Occupied Palestine) near al-Farahin neighborhood hit the southern region of the blockaded Gaza Strip with three artillery shells.

Demonstrations continue to rock the occupied Palestinian territories for the fourth consecutive day over U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Two Palestinians were killed early Saturday in Israeli strikes at locations south of Gaza city. Two other protesters were killed on Friday when Israeli soldiers stationed at the Gaza border opened fire at Palestinians protesting Trump’s decision. Hundreds of other protesters have been left wounded.
