The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday assaulted a number of Palestinian citizens at different crossroads to the east of Qalqilya city and arrested a young man.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that the IOF soldiers arrested the 22-year-old Omar Husein who is a resident of Azzun town after severely beating him at a crossroad between Hableh village and Qalqilya city.
They added that the IOF soldiers were heavily deployed in the vicinity of the towns of Azzun Jayyous and Kafr Thulth where clashes have escalated lately over the US president Donald Trump’s plan to move the US embassy to Jerusalem which he has recognized as the capital of Israel.
