Senior Hamas official Ra’fat Murra has stressed the importance of the international solidarity with the Palestinian people describing the Palestinian cause as the world’s most important humane and just issue.
Murra director of Hamas’s media department in the diaspora made his remarks in a press release issued on Wednesday on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people.
“On this day we reaffirm the Palestinian people’s adherence to their fundamental rights especially their right to self-determination liberation from the occupation and their right to return build an independent state with full sovereignty and live in security stability and freedom” Murra stated.
He affirmed that the Palestinian people still suffer from different kinds of Israeli terrorism including killing detention destruction appropriation of lands blockade movement restrictions and Judaization of holy sites.
The Hamas official appealed to the world’s free people to support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people especially their right to resist the Israeli occupation and confront its terrorist and racist practices.
He also called for more political media and legal solidarity with the Palestinian people and stressed the need to prosecute Israeli war criminals at international courts.
