The Moroccan Commission for Advocating the Nation’s Causes has called for drawing the world’s attention to the aggravating humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people under occupation and Israel’s ongoing crimes against them.
This came in a statement released by the commission on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People which is observed every year on November 29.
“This occasion has come as the conditions of the Palestinian are constantly deteriorating as a result of the oppressive occupation’s persistence in imposing its control over all areas of Palestine and assaulting its people and holy sites…amid shocking international silence” the commission stated.
The commission stressed the importance of taking advantage of this annual event to highlight the suffering of the Palestinian people at home and abroad and draw the world’s attention to their growing tragedy as a result of their exposure to systematic killing displacement detention blockade and other violations against their lands property and holy sites.
The commission strongly denounced the international silence on Israel’s crimes in Palestine and called on the Moroccan people to organize events and activities in solidarity with Palestine throughout the country and actively participate in them.
