22 Palestinian female prisoners are being imprisoned by Israel “under dire conditions” in Damon prison the newly-released prisoner Manal Abu Ali revealed.
The 22 female prisoners are held in two cells in Damon prison under very difficult detention condition Abu Ali added.
She also pointed to the prisoners’ transport in the “Bosta” or the prison transfer vehicle to courts and back which takes long hours in the poorly-equipped vehicle.
The ex-prisoner also called for shedding more light on the prisoners’ issue and working seriously on their release.
Abu Ali 29 was released Tuesday evening after spending six months in Israeli jails.
She was arrested on June 11 for allegedly having a knife in her possession.
