Qatari foreign minister Mohamed Al Thani has condemned regional countries for interfering in the internal affairs of his country affirming that Qatar’s support is for war-torn Gaza and not Hamas.
Speaking at a symposium organized by the Center for the National Interest in Washington Al Thani responded to his Saudi counterpart’s remarks over Qatar’s relations with Hamas by emphasizing that his country never supported Hamas but rather supported the Palestinian people in Gaza and their enclave which was destroyed during Israeli wars.
The minister also accused the countries besieging Qatar of undermining stability of the region and gambling with the lives of their people.
