Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed Monday morning the plazas of al-Aqsa Mosque via al-Magharibah gate under heavy police protection.
Some 50 settlers broke into the courtyards of al-Aqsa Mosque under protection by Israeli policemen and heavily armed Special Forces who escorted settlers while roaming the plazas of the holy site and receiving Talmudic rituals before exiting from al-Silsila gate.
Israeli police tightened the grip at the gates of the holy shrine and scrutinized and confiscated the IDs of Muslim worshipers during their entry to the Mosque.
