The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) brutally attacked a peaceful protest calling for the re-opening of a road closed for 18 years in Qalqas area south of al-Khalil.
The protest was held in the commemoration of the 13th anniversary of the death of President Yasser Arafat in presence of al-Khalil’s mayor Tayseer Abu Sneineh and other local officials and activists.
The participants held banners and chanted slogans calling for the reopening of the closed road which constitutes the sole link with the neighboring towns.
